Digital X-Rays with reduced radiation:
We have the latest digital x-ray technology in our office. Digital X-Rays decrease radiation exposure by over 80% and allow you to instantly see what we see on a screen in front of you.
Tooth filling and Restorations:
A Filling is used to “fill-in” the space left in a tooth when a cavity is cleaned out of decay. We use porcelain or composite resin fillings; both are non toxic and mercury-free
Bonding
If you have a gap between teeth or a broken or clipped tooth, we use a pastle-like dental composite to fill in the space or reshape your teeth. Bonding can give you a complete smile makeover, often in one visit.
Root Canal
When soft inner tissue of a tooth becomes inflamed or infected we may need to perform a root canal treatment. By cleaning the canal and filling it, we can measure the tooth and we can save the surrounding tissues from further infection.
Tooth filling and Restorations:
This is a standard procedure to remove plaque and calculus which cause jaw and bone disease. We use hand and ultrasonic tools to plane away the rough bacteria, leaving a smooth and clean tooth surface.
Deep Cleaning or Root planning (General Dentistry)
Similar to scaling, root planning is performed by hand using scaling tools below gum pockets to remove buildup of tartar.
Sealants
When there is a high risk of tooth decay, we spread a coating of resin based material over the pits and fissures of molars. This prevents food and plaque from getting trapped in crevasses.
Dentures
We offer a range of dentures to replace missing teeth, including convenient removable dentures. And more permanent dentures relying on bonding or clasping onto teeth or dental implants.
Mouth Guards:
Many patients grind their teeth while sleeping, wearing down the enamel of their teeth (the thin outer covering of the tooth). We can create a soft plastic mouthpiece to protect your teeth while you sleep.
